Culture Meeting Point (since 1995) is pleased to present the International Piano Competition 2018.
Categories
The competition will be held in 3 categories.
Category A: Age 17 or older
Category B: Age 11 - 16
Category C: Age 10 or younger

Eligibility
- The competition is open to pianists of all nationalities.
- Participants can participate with piano either solo or with an accompanying instrument.
- An accompanist can be provided if required.
Competition for category A (age 17 or older)
1stRound
- Video selection
- Participants will send a video link of their performance to the address:

2nd Round
- 6 participants will perform in front of the jury in Vienna on 16th November 2018
- Program will consist of two parts
Part 1: Performance of a given composition (approximately 5 minutes)
Part 2: Performance of a free chosen work
- Participants will receive the composition 6 weeks before the concert
- Program will be a maximum of 45 minutes per participant
- Jury will announce the winners on concert day
Competition for category B (age 11 - 16)

- Video selection
- Participants will send a video link of their performance to the address:

- 6 participants will perform in front of the jury in Vienna on 16th November 2018
- Program will consist of two parts
Part 1: Performance of work from Vienna classics (Haydn, Mozart or Beethoven)
Part 2: Performance of a free chosen work
- Program will be a maximum of 30 minutes per participant
- An accompanist can be provided if required
- Jury will announce the winners on concert day
Competition for category C (age 10 or younger)

- Video selection
- Participants will send a video link of their performance to the address:

- 6 participants will perform in front of the jury in Vienna on 16th November 2018
- Participants are free to choose the work they are going to perform
- Program will be a maximum of 15 minutes per participant
- An accompanist can be provided if required
- Jury will announce the winners on concert day
